Notes Of Appreciation

January, 2010

Mark and crew;

I just wanted to send a note of thanks for all the hard work you did this summer on our backyard.  Mark, you said that the only thing better than the waterfall in summer bloom was the waterfall in the snow.  Well it snowed last night for the first time this year in Burlington and you were right, the falls are unbelievable.

With all the rain delays and muck of the early summer you and your crew were always polite, pleasant, professional and above all took safety into the highest consideration.  With three young children and a year old puppy running about, the extra time you took to make sure that the area was fenced off and protected meant the world to Paul and I.  I received so many compliments from neighbours about how you took the extra time to make sure that not only was the work area tidy, but that the road, sidewalk and drive were tidied as well.

We have now had 6 months to enjoy the system, patio and landscaping.  Everyone who has seen it has been in awe of how natural everything looks, like the falls were there before the house.  The plantings are coming along and the kids have enjoyed moving the stones around the falls to see how the flow of water can be changed and if they can create little whirlpools for their leaf boats to get stuck in.  After a tiring game of fetch even Bruin has his favorite spot in the water on the bottom rock.  It’s so funny to see him lying there tongue lolling out the side of his mouth and belly in the cold water.

Equally important as the aesthetics, is the purpose for the system.  I am pleased to report that after the initial need to use city water to fill the reservoir to the pump line, we managed to water the gardens and lawn for the rest of the summer and fall without the need to turn on the city water once.  That included all the water needed for the new sod.   The booster pump was easy to use and disassemble come fall and I’m certain that it will be just as easy to reassemble come spring.  The reservoir and overflow to the storm sewer were instrumental in preventing the backyard from flooding for the first time in 9 years.

Thank you again and as I had mentioned at the end of the job, please feel free to use Paul and I as a reference for your work.   We would be please to give you the highest recommendation.

Sincerely,

Kathy and Paul Roppel

Mark Wanders,

We would like to thank all who worked so hard on our garden, from the early planning stages to completion.

The frequent communication and constant professionalism was appreciated.

It has now become our favorite vacation spot at home.

The pond is crystal clear full of life and so relaxing to be near, we are looking forward to the years ahead as the pond and garden mature.

We welcome any future clients to see what an amazing job you all did.

Please use our names for any recommendations,

Yours truly,

Robert & Deb Brown,

Good morning, Mark… Just to say how pleased we are with the landscaping (and have received many complimentary comments from others). Both the design and construction are “tops.”

Thanks again.

Hi Mark:

Well spring appears to be here and we have the fishpond and water falls up and running again. The spring cleanup went well and everything is performing nicely.

It has been two years now since you installed our pond and transformed our yard into a beautiful place.

We now look forward to the warm days and nights so we can sit out in the patio area and really relax and enjoy the sounds of our pond and falls.

We would like to take this time to express our thanks for your very professional workmanship. You and your staff did a great job and we will not hesitate to recommend your company to others. We have had a lot of people out walking who stop to admire our pond through the fence and extend the compliments to us on the beautiful changes we made (sorry you made).

Thanks again and have a great summer.

Raymar Landscaping Inc.:

We had our pond and waterfalls installed four years ago when we expanded our office facilities. Our waterfalls and pond is the centerpiece of our landscaping. The view and sounds of the waterfall from the office window is both soothing and relaxing; a perfect distraction from the stress of business life.

Rarely does a visit from customers or supplier go by without a comment about the splendid view.

We have been very satisfied with the workmanship and continued maintenance by Raymar Landscaping.

To whom it may concern:

In October of 2003, we sought the advice of Mark Wanders and Raymar Landscaping regarding our intended plan to construct a backyard pond. We ended up working with Mark and Raymar.

What a wonderful result! Mark’s craftsmanship and artisanship – his attention to detail and his high standards, have resulted in a backyard feature that is our center of attention. Mark’s business ethic and standard is high and it shows in pride of work.

I recommend Mark from start to finish. He’s a class act! You’ll have a first class pond.

We have used the services of Raymar for approximately 15 years. They have put in walkways, a patio, a fish pond and a large rockery - much to our satisfaction and admiration of visitors to our home.

Why Invest in Landscaping ?

There are two immediate returns to your investment!

Your property value has just increased. And your new out door living space has given you a quiet place to relax and enjoy your investment,..... and it just continues to grow.

RAIN WATER HARVESTING ?

Let It Rain & Re-use It

One of the leading causes of fresh water polluting comes from storm water runoff. Rain water harvesting deters that by allowing you to collect rain water right within your own landscape.

Less water rushes off your property and further into the rivers and lakes (picking up contaminants along the way), plus you have a much better and more nutrient rich water available to use around your home, garden or even workplace, limiting your dependence on tap water.

And on top of it all (literally) we can install a beautiful water-feature to circulate the water that you have harvested.
